Irene’s journey into the world of essential oils and skin health began in her early 20s when she worked as a massage therapist in luxury spas. During her 16-year career, she discovered the transformative power of oils, masks, and scrubs for the face and body. As her career evolved, Irene specialized in Geriatric Massage, incorporating essential oils and aromatherapy into her sessions to enhance the well-being of elderly clients. Her passion for natural remedies grew throughout her career, deepening her knowledge and commitment to holistic care.
In 2023, Irene embarked on a new personal journey—growing out her gray hair. During this time, she discovered new uses for essential oils. She began exploring the benefits of hair oiling, experimenting with various treatments, while deepening her understanding of the most effective methods.
Inspired by her own experiences, and the desire to help other women embrace their natural radiance, Irene envisioned a brand dedicated to healthy hair and skin for mature women. And so, Silver & Sage was born.
